  1. How do u realize a scammer– I got scammed when trying to find a Yorkie — thankfully PalPal refunded my money and the local police where the scammer lived helped to make them known to the public —

    1. It’s hard. These scammers feed off our emotions.

My lesson learned was don’t use Zelle. I thought my bank (Chase) would have my back line credit card companies do – they didn’t.

If you’re going to use a payment, use a credit card (not as debit but as credit) as the credit card company will help you.

  2. Please at TrainedBelgianMalinoisPuppies.com to this list!! Just got me for $900!! I filed all the reports I could. They’re out of Tucson, AZ.

  3. I am currently in the process of chatting with them about a dog. Shawn looker is the name and email address. Also noticed it was in AZ I am very skeptical of this whole thing and had an Erie feeling. They have my address now. I was really looking for all signs of scam. They are really good if this is a scam. So the person isn’t legit at all? Not like a copycat kind of situation? I’m very lost now as to where I can find this type of dog. Rescues make it impossible to adopt. And the images and videos I received. Had a sweet sounding woman training the pup I’m interested in. They even had kids playing with it. Did any of you get the same thing in an email?

    1. Yes, just today. I was interested in a pup and decided to run the name and number just to be safe. Sure enough this came up. Shame, I really liked the dog. I’ll be checking out the shelters instead.

      1. So glad we were able to help you from getting scammed. Unfortunately once you’ve been scammed, there’s no way to get your money back. I used “ZELL” thinking my bank would back me in the event of the scam – not the case. They said they treat the money sent through that system as cash. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

  4. @Jane Doe – I got the “Kids playing with the dogs” email as well. What’s proof of the scam, is look at the dogs for sale and their ages – then compare it to the date that the snapshop was taken.
